Action Items

Minutes

  • Data Center Group updates
    • Confidential Computing
      • The activities of this project are spread amongst multiple teams inside Linaro. We are creating a new project to coalesce all these activities.
      • Ongoing investigation about the current state of the Confidential Computing on Arm platforms. Details in next meeting topic.
    • System Ready Compliant Platform Collaboration (SRCPC)
      • Focusing on the next set of features in the roadmap.
      • Qualcomm was working on a new feature to add versioning to the SBSA references in QEMU, but they are not working on that anymore. Linaro pick up this work.
      • SMMU stage 2 functionality has been upstreamed, but we are still trying to make some changes to satisfy the ACS tests.
      • Working on few bugs related to PCIe root.
    •  Etcd
      • CI is running. There is a pending issue that was not reproduced. In theory, we are ready to become Tier 1 supported.
      • The remaining issue is who in the Arm community is willing to become the maintainer of this project. The community wants that a maintainer of the etcd community becomes the Arm maintainer. That will demand that anyone looking to get this position will need to first become very involved with the etcd community. This is out of the scope of what Linaro can do here at this moment, unless we change the Data Center Group priorities.
    • Tensorflow
      • 2.13-rc0 is out. Things are looking good at this point, so not sure if an rc1 will be needed.
    • Storage
      • Lustre
        • Lustre on OpenEuler has been accepted and will be in the next OpenEuler release.
        • 4k page CI still not running. We do have a 64k CI running, but community doesn't have lots of interest on hat.
    • Big Data and Data Science
      • BigTop now supports OpenEuler.
      • Version 3.3 work has been started.
  • Confidential Computing on Arm investigations
  • Public meetings
    • CCA public meeting
      • Leonardo Garcia still failing to plan another meeting. Work is progressing, though.
    • OP-TEE public meeting
      • Topics brought by this segment group there were already addressed:
        • Running multiple instances of OP-TEE on top of Hafnium.
        • PIC support.
      • Topics being worked
        • C++ support.
      • Topics in the back log
        • OpenSSL requirements (waiting on Guangwei Zhou from Huawei)
        • GICv4 support
        • Attestation flow
    • Databases on Arm public meeting
      • After an initial good meeting, progress has slowed.
      • Collaboration mainly ongoing between Arm and Huawei.
      • Huawei shared that they might not have a list of issues on specific databases to share.
      • Waiting to see if we can get collaboration from others.
