TS: ST working on tool to generate code but doesn’t have the capability to build anything. It doesn’t ship with any toolchains. The gnerated code doesn’t need to be build on the same computer. It would be a major pain to check toolchains in a product that doesn’t require them. Were able to generate code in 2.4.0 but not 2.5.0.

JK: This was enforced in 2.5.0 to avoid confusion previously.

TS: The file is still specifying gcc, IAR etc

JK: Please raise an issue.

TS: devtools #1646 created.

RK: #324 Simplified usage of cpackget. Concern about ci modes. No rush for this.

Feature Complete

Arm considers 2.5.0 Feature Complete and only plans minor extensions. OK to work on topics that may arise like ST issue.
