Call for Demos
We are hosting our first ever Virtual Demo Technology Showcase and networking event on Thursday, September 9 at the end of the day when sessions are finished.
If you’ve ever been to a Linaro Connect in the past, you may remember our Demo Friday Technology showcase. Participants of Demo Friday prepared a technology demo on a wide variety of Arm Software topics.
How will it work virtually?
Demos will be recorded by the person or team submitting, the video file will be sent to the Linaro Connect events team. We will then incorporate the demo videos into an interactive Demo Technology Showcase during the online event using a software that integrates with the main event platform. The software will allow attendees to virtually “walk up” to your demo area, watch the demo video, and interact with your team at a specified table using their mic and camera or via the chat function.

Event Platform for LVC21F
We will be using the same event platform from LVC21 Spring, “PINE tool”. Once you have registered, You will receive an email invitation from PINE inviting you to login. You will then be able to start bookmarking sessions for your agenda.
The event platform is now open to attendees, so all registered attendees now have access to the attendee chat area, list of sessions and session details, list of speakers, etc.
Once you login to PINE, Please check your timezone is correct in the top left hand panel of the “Attendee app” - you will see “Event time” in UTC and “My time”. You can edit your timezone by clicking on the gear icon.
System Requirements:
Recommended requirements for comfortable use of the PINE platform:
- Internet connection: 10MB (min 5MB)
- Browser: the latest version (Google Chrome is most stable)
- OS: Win10 is recommended, Mac OS 10.10 (minimum Quad-Core)
- RAM: 8GB (min 4GB)
- Web Camera: capable to record video in 720p
- Microphone: external on camera or a headset (built-in is not recommended)
For better and stable work we advise you not to run other video-related applications or other heavy applications. Please close unrelated tabs.
Schedule/Sessions
The event starts at different times each day to accommodate speakers/attendees globally.
All event times are listed in UTC on the website by default. Most sessions are 25 minutes long.
All session videos and slides will be added to our Resource page for LVC21 Fall if you miss a live session.
Speakers will be online during their sessions to chat and answers questions live during their session broadcast.
