Visa: Find out if you need a visa to travel to the United Kingdom here and process any necessary paperwork

Travel: Once you've sorted your visa if required, book your flight.

Accommodation

To book your hotel room at the Park Plaza London Riverbank | Home you can use the Linaro group code [LINC23]. There is only a limited amount of room at the Linaro preferred rate which is valid until April 10th. After this date, the prices will increase. We encourage you to take advantage of the current rates before the deadline.

Getting to Park Plaza London Riverbank

Situated on the south side of the River Thames, Park Plaza London Riverbank is within walking distance of Vauxhall and London Waterloo Railway Stations and Vauxhall and Waterloo London Underground Stations.

There are several transportation options available for getting from London airports to Park Plaza London Riverbank. Please find the detailed transportation advice here.

Check-in time is from 16:00 hours and check-out is 12:00 (noon).

From the airport

From London Heathrow Airport (LHR)
Take the London Underground eastbound on the Piccadilly line. Change at Green Park Station for the southbound Victoria line towards Brixton. Get off at Vauxhall via exit number 3. Walk east along Albert Embankment. Park Plaza London Riverbank will be on your right.

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW)
Take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria Station. Change to the London Underground, travelling southbound on the Victoria line towards Brixton. Get off at Vauxhall via exit number 3. Walk east along Albert Embankment. Park Plaza London Riverbank will be on your right.

From London Stansted Airport (STN)
Take the National Rail express train to London Liverpool Street. Change to the London Underground and take the Central line to Oxford Circus. Change to the southbound Victoria line to Vauxhall. Get off at Vauxhall via exit number 3. Walk east along Albert Embankment. Park Plaza London Riverbank will be on your right.

To the airport

To London Heathrow Airport (LHR)
Walk west along Albert Embankment. Take the southbound Victoria line towards Brixton from Vauxhall Station. Change at Green Park Station for the eastbound Piccadilly line. Get off at London Heathrow Airport (LHR).

To London Gatwick Airport (LGW)
Walk west along Albert Embankment. Take the southbound Victoria line towards Brixton from Vauxhall Station. Change at London Victoria Station for the Gatwick Express train. Get off at London Gatwick Airport (LGW).

To London Stansted Airport (STN)
Walk west along Albert Embankment. Take the southbound Victoria line towards Vauxhall Station. Change at Oxford Circus Station for the eastbound Central line to London Liverpool Street. Take the National Rail express train to London Stansted Airport (STN).

Getting to the conference area

Once you arrive at Park Plaza Riverbank, follow the signs for “Linaro Connect”. (We are the only event on site this week.) The Linaro Connect event map can be found on the Sched App linaroconnect2023.sched.com.

Registration / Picking up your badge

Registration will be open on Tuesday afternoon from 4-5:30 pm and on Wednesday morning beginning at 7:30 am. The Event Reception is on the Conference Level -2 and will be open until 5 pm every day. View here on the event map.

Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks

Breakfast is available for Park Plaza London Riverbank guests only from 7:00-8:30 am each morning in the Ballroom “Breakfast/Lunch area”.

Lunch is available for all Linaro Connect attendees from 12:45-1:45 pm each day in the Ballroom “Breakfast/Lunch area”. AM and PM coffee breaks will be available in the Ballroom Foyer.

Key signing party

There will be two dedicated slots for Key Signing Party on Wednesday and Thursday at 4:00 pm - 4:15 pm in the Hacking room. Don’t forget to bring your public GPG keys along at Linaro Connect. More details here.

Demo Showcase

This year, we won’t have a “Demo Friday” but a few demos will be showcased in the Hacking room on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 pm. For more details check the schedule.

Evening for Everyone

Thursday evening is open to all attendees at Alchemist Embassy Gardens (Limited capacity mark your interest in Sched)

Park Plaza London Riverbank is your perfect launch pad to the very best things to do on the South Bank and all that London has to offer. The hotel is near the London Eye and other landmarks such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, The Oval and Tate Britain are a short walk away, while Theatreland, Oxford Circus and world-famous museums and galleries can be reached easily.
