Accommodation

To book your hotel room at the Meliá Avenida América you can use the Linaro group promotional link here. The preferred rate is available for the dates 10-18 May for a limited time upon availability - we recommend you book your room as soon as possible. After this date, the prices will increase. We encourage you to take advantage of the current rates before the deadline.

In case of need to extend your stay, please contact booking department hotel by email to confirm to the pre and post-event’s available night.

Getting to Melià Avenida América

To get from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport to Meliá Avenida América in Madrid. The hotel is located at Calle Juan Ignacio Luca de Tena, 36, 28027 Madrid, Spain. 

There are several transportation options available for getting from Madrid Airport to Melià Avenida América. Please find the detailed transportation advice here.

Check-in can be made from 14:00 on the arrival day. Check-out must be made before 12:00 on the departure day.

Hotel Shuttle Service 

Call the hotel at +34 91 423 24 00 once you have collected your luggage, and indicate the exact terminal for the pick-up. 

Go to the bus stop. This is indicated as “Bus Hoteles” and look for the minibus marked with the hotel’s logo “Melia Avenida America”. The pickup process may take 45 to 50 minutes.

To book a spot on the shuttle, tickets can be obtained at reception within the desired time slot. 

The shuttle from the hotel to the airport has the following various departure times throughout the day:

Some specific times are marked with an asterisk to denote a first stop at Ifema before continuing to the airport. 

Madrid Public Transportation

Madrid's public transport system is praised for being fast, safe, clean, and reliable. It includes the Metro, buses (day & night), Metro Ligero (light rail).

To navigate from the Meliá Avenida América hotel to downtown Madrid using the Metro, you'll likely use a combination of lines depending on your exact downtown destination. The hotel is located in proximity to Suanzes Metro station.

Metro tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines located in stations for 1,50€ to 2,00€ (*).

Below, the common scenario where you might want to reach the Sol station, a central point in downtown Madrid.

  • Starting Point: Meliá Avenida América, with the closest Metro station being Suanzes on Line 5 (Light Green).

  • Line 5 (Light Green): Board the Metro at Suanzes station towards Casa de Campo.

  • Transfer at Callao Station: At Callao station, switch from Line 5 (Light Green) to Line 3 (Yellow).

  • Line 3 (Yellow): Continue on Line 3 towards Moncloa.

  • Arrival at Sol Station: Exit at Sol station, which is a central point in downtown Madrid, near many attractions, shops, and restaurants.

This route is just one of the many possibilities, depending on your destination in downtown Madrid. 

The best and easiest way to use the Metro is with the help of the Metro de Madrid official applications.

Getting to the conference area

Once you arrive at Meliá Avenida América, follow the signs for “Linaro Connect”. (We are the only event on site this week.) The Linaro Connect event map can be found on the Kite webpage

Registration / Picking up your badge

Registration will be open on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 pm and . The Event Registration desk is on the ground floor of the Conference Center and will be open until 5 pm every day. View here on the event map.

Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks

Breakfast is available for Meliá Avenida América attendees only from 7:00-8:45 am each morning in the hotel restaurant. 

Lunch is available for all Linaro Connect attendees from 12:45-1:45 pm each day in Toledo room “Lunch area” on the third floor of the Conference Center.

AM coffee breaks will be available in Zaragoza I + II, 4th floor.

PM coffee breaks will be available in Zamora, ground floor.

Near the hotel

The Meliá Avenida América is located in the Ciudad Lineal neighborhood in Madrid, which is a bit northeast of the city center.
