Bootstrapping Tasks (Renato Golin)
Larry: ThunderX config in TACC, do you have access? Are you tracking that?
Renato: No
Darren and Eric to follow up and get Linaro access (Martin, Renato and Kanta)Tianhong: Supports 3rd option. HiSilicon can support in providing HW
Kato: 4th Choice. User emulation is first priority. SVE emulation on x86 2nd priority. Ultimately what all 4 but understand that we need to prioritise
Tianhong: Is a HW license required?
Martin: No. we are only dealing with open source
Larry: Happy with current suggestions
Grant: Plan reasonable for now
Jakob: Looking for autovectorisations on compilers to work well
Larry: Generically on benchmarks. What are the target list e.g top 10 benchmarks
Kanta: We are in the process of pulling this information together to present to the SC
Tianhong: Transferring x86 vector interaction to ARM has been very hard. Not sure about performance
Kato: Who has access to benchmarking results?
Andrea: Member confidential benchmark results are never shared
Any results that are shared are always agreed by the SIG members
