Project updates
Deploy CCA on Arm Platforms (DCAP)
Fixed a few issues reported by Fujitsu on the remote attestation verification workflow.
Changed the TF-A Granule Table implementation so that it can be configured according to the memory size provided in the QEMU command line in the sbsa-ref machine type running as host.
Advanced in the key broker features development inside Veraison.
Next steps:
Upstream RME support for SBSA in TF-A and EDK2.
Fix Kata container issues. There is an issue that affects even non-confidential guests.
Continue working on the proper support for the CCA token standardization.
Integrate Veraison with CoCo in order to have a CCA native verifier.
Roadmap:
System Ready Compliant Platform Collaboration (SRCPC)
Added tests to validate firmware on the project CI, as we need to mix TF-A and EDK2 versions for QEMU to work correctly.
Next steps:
Write tests for checking OS support.
Pass BSA ACS checklist
No roadmap generally available.
Performance Optimization (PO)
Analyzed PyTorch dependency graph.
Engaged with the NumPy community to understand where SIMD instructions were not properly leveraged yet. Found out that NumPy is currently discussing improvements on their dynamic dispatcher and how to better leverage Google's project Highway to get SIMD optimization for different architectures. However, project Highway itself has some gaps, with algorithms that were not properly translated to SIMD instructions. Trying to help project Highway maintainers on this effort with low priority.
Started analyzing OpenSSL performance.
Next steps:
Continue working on OpenSSL performance.
Continue working on Highway SIMD enablement with a lower priority.
Roadmap being built.
Big Data and Data Science (BDDS)
Started working on Bigtop Manager.
Next steps:
Analyze Spark performance issues. Try to implement VectorAPI.
Roadmap being rebuilt.
Enhanced Software-Designed-Storage on Arm Servers (STOR)
Add UADK support for Ceph compressor (zlib).
Analyzed and fixed a performance issue on Ceph.
Next steps:
Ceph SDPK NVMe-oF gateway performance test.
Roadmap:
