  • Deploy CCA on Arm Platforms (DCAP)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • Device assignment

        • Basic TDISP workflow working with QEMU emulation (same level of compatibility with what is currently available in Arm’s FVP model). Working on final small bug fixes and documentation to share with members.

      • Kata containers

        • Fixed issues with the cca/v7 branch.

        • Enabled the cri-containerd job for Kata Arm64 CI.

      • Standardisation

        • Wrote an IETF draft for the extended CCA attestation token.

      • Fujitsu's recent contributions

        • Libvirt

          • Post v3 patches for CCA support in May 2025.

        • OpenStack

          • Submitted SPEC for CCA support in Nova.

        • KubeVirt

          • Submitted plan for CCA support.

        • Confidential Containers (CoCo)

          • Plan to add OpenStack and KubeVirt support (not just for Arm) to Peer Pods.

    • Next tasks:

      • Add support for RME 1.1 new features in the CCA software stack:

        • Device assignment.

        • Memory encryption.

        • Produce proper documentation and scripts to run Kata containers with RME support.

        • Set up Kata Arm64 runtime-rs testing job.

        • Continue the work on CCA Token standarisation.

  • Performance Optimization (PO)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • Iakov run various benchmarks and presented the report today.

    • Next tasks:

      • Work with the members on where we should focus our performance optimization efforts inside OpenSSL.

  • Big Data & Data Science (BDDS)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • Bigtop

        • Helped in the definition of the Bigtop 3.4 release BOM.

        • Version 3.4 released.

      • Gluten

        • Added support to Velox back end on Arm64.

        • Set up Arm64 CI.

        • Added openEuler support.

      • Apache Ozone

        • Created Arm64 container images.

      • Apache Avro

        • Unified Arm64 workflows for build.

      • Apache Kafta

        • Fixed a performance issue.

      • Apache Flink

        • Fixed a build error.

    • Next tasks:

      • Apache Doris

        • Set up Arm64 CI.
