  • Deploy CCA on Arm Platforms (DCAP)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • Kata Containers

        • Moved Kata Arm64 CI from Works on Arm machines to Linaro infrastructure. Thanks Arm for donating a server for us to continue doing this work.

        • Successfully booted a container with encrypted image.

      • Confidential Containers

        • Successfully booted a container with encrypted image.

    • Next tasks:

      • Device Assignment

        • Continue the work to support additional features as they become available from Arm in TrustedFirmware and Linux.

      • Kata Containers

        • Produce proper documentation and scripts to run Kata containers with RME support.

        • Set up Kata Arm64 runtime-rs testing job.

      • Standards

        • Attested TLS

          • BoF at IETF 123: agreement to form a new working group.

        • Endorsement API proposal (based on CoSERV)

          • Veraison prototype showcased at the IETF 123 hackathon.

          • CoSERV was put forward for RATS Working Group adoption at the IETF 123, but this did not succeed. Clear understanding of scope is needed.

        • Continue the work on CCA Token standardization.

        • Continue the work on the CCA Token extension for device assignment.

  • Performance Optimization (PO)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • OpenSSL Poly1305: finished a VLA implementation and tested it with 128-bit vectors on real hardware.

    • Next tasks:

      • OpenSSL Poly1305: validate the VLA implementation on emulated 256-bit (and higher) vectors.

      • OpenSSL Camellia: continue working with FutureWei intern on assembly implementation of the algorithm.

  • Big Data & Data Science (BDDS)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • Doris

        • Sent multiple patches to Doris fixing issues and improving its performance on Arm64.

      • Gluten

        • Fixed an issue that appeared after an openEuler upgrade

    • Next tasks:

      • Doris

        • Working on porting AVX2 intrinsics to SVE.

        • Support CI.

      • Gluten

        • Support IC.

  • Enhanced Software-Defined-Storage on Arm Servers (STOR)

    • Updates since last meeting:

      • JuiceFS

        • Fixed a few performance issues, including some related to the Go language performance on Arm64.

      • ldiskfs

        • Add support for openEuler kernel 4.19.

    • Next tasks:

      • JuiceFS

        • Continue working on performance optimization.

      • Lustre

        • Arm64 CI maintenance.
