Project Orko: Empowering SOAFEE with VirtIO Magic
Introduction
Project Orko is enabling Virtualisation and VirtIO for the Trusted Reference Stack (TRS) and SOAFEE workloads. It builds on the pathfinding work of https://linaro.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/STR and will reuse components from that project as well as develop additional backends. The broad aims are to:
Expand rust-vmm’s support for Xen (and other hypervisors)
Launch VM’s with VirtIO backend
De-privilege VirtIO backends as much as possible
Run SOAFEE container workloads isolated in those VMs
