Users, levels and actions
A user who is not logged in is considered to be an anonymous user.
For all users logged in, if their email address matches a domain assigned to a Company within the Hub then they are classified as a member. Depending on the configuration for that Company, they may also be classified as a contributor or an admin. If this is the case, it will be displayed in the top-right corner of the Hub page:
Resources
An anonymous user can only view public resources. They cannot comment on or vote on any resources, nor can they subscribe to any notifications of new resources.
All logged in users can view public resources plus any private resources that permissions allow them to view. They can comment on or vote on any resources they can view. They can subscribe to notifications of new resources for a specific tag, publishing company, presenter or theme.
Contributors can always view their own contributions, regardless of the permissions if private.
Administrators can always view their company’s contributions, regardless of the permissions if private.
Some text has been struck through above as that functionality is not yet in place but will be delivered in a future release.
Actions
For each of the actions listed below, the table indicates whether you must be a contributor or an admin in order to perform that action. If it indicates contributor then that includes admins for that Company. Depending on the Company configuration, all members can be treated as contributors.
