Theo

Showed the initial ASV data from for some of the models that Crefeda had supplied : https://people.linaro.org/~theodore.grey/asv-test/asv-conf/ResImage/#imagebench.TensorflowImageClassification.track_image_classification?x-axis=param1&p-param5=1&p-param5=16&p-param5=32

Discussion: internal to Arm they have the same needs, plan to compare between what Linaro is doing what is for the public community as what is needed for internal monitoring

Andrew

Docker container created, struggling with all the updates needed to use the new toolchain

rc1 build and released to external PyPi. AWS has not built from what we can see?

Non-pip tests PR looks to have landed. Seems they need more machine time to run all the tests as things are backed up. Google needs to address as it’s an updated in GitHub.

Nathan

Many Linux 2014 pipelines working, Crefeda continues to look at the performance of various models. Looking at threading models and trying to make that consistent, as thread pools are expense, and seems to be more so on Arm. OpenMP/Eigen thread pool implementations, are there improvements in thread primitives or perhaps even in the pooling implementations. Nathan mentioned some work with Forge being looked at that might help give a few.
