  • Lustre client 2.12 is due to be out in Oct. This will work 'out of the box'. Linaro to validate with OpenHPC
  • Announce at SC18 Client support on Arm
  • HW needed for testing
  • Call to action to collaborate, share findings and knowledge to help evolve it faster for Arm

Minutes Summary

  • What are the key MPI libraries that need to be optimised?
  • Which MPI configuration is best?
  • What MPI benchmarks can we run?
  • Conduct a first analysis or pool analyses to then clearly identify engineering priorities and objectives. This work will need to be resourced with appropriate skillset
  • Need to run scaling studies
  • General consensus to focus on openMPI
  • No concerns raised with Linaro's prospective Roadmap in Engineering review. All acknowledged the need for resourcing the efforts

Agenda: Latest and greatest on openHPC (Renato): What's next? What is being driven by that community?
