What are the key MPI libraries that need to be optimised?
Which MPI configuration is best?
What MPI benchmarks can we run?
Conduct a first analysis or pool analyses to then clearly identify engineering priorities and objectives. This work will need to be resourced with appropriate skillset
Need to run scaling studies
General consensus to focus on openMPI
No concerns raised with Linaro's prospective Roadmap in Engineering review. All acknowledged the need for resourcing the efforts
Members to share their existing openMPI efforts as part of the first analysis
Next meeting 2nd Oct
Agenda: Latest and greatest on openHPC (Renato): What's next? What is being driven by that community?
