Themes and Tags

Themes and Tags are used to categorize resources. A theme can have multiple related tags and a tag can be associated with multiple themes.

Themes are intended to primarily map onto how Linaro’s projects are organised but they can be used to provide an umbrella grouping of various resources, e.g. all of the resources for an event.

Tags are intended to provide a grouping around technologies or subject-matter, e.g. “Demo”, “Keynote”, “IoT”.

When creating and editing a resource, you specify the tags associated with the content of that resource. The Hub will automatically associate the themes based on those tags. As the definitions of tags and themes changes, the Hub automatically updates affected themes.

Each tag and each theme has its own page of resources and this can be seen by clicking on the appropriate “pill button”. For theme pages, the set of tags associated with that theme is also displayed to allow for further refinement of the resources being displayed.
