How to join my LIVE session in PINE (with video walk through)


LIVE SESSIONS

First, you need to login to the PINE speaker hub.

If you have not yet logged into the Speaker Hub check your email for an invitation with the subject line “speaker invitation to PINE”

Check that you can toggle back and forth between attendee app and speaker hub. (As seen in the video run-through below)

If you have registered as an attendee and it’s still not showing up when you click your Speaker Hub avatar, it may be that you registered with 2 different email addresses. If so please let me know andI can link the 2 accounts on the admin side. 

Once you're logged into the Speaker Hub Please check all of your sessions are listed and that all of your co-speakers are showing up in the session. If someone is not listed as a speaker they will not be able to turn their video or mic on during the session. All speakers must join the session via the SpeakerHub if they want to use mic/camera.

On the day of your session - At least 5 minutes before your session you will want to first go in and join “backstage” of your session. Then click Join.

Here you will find the Linaro moderator (Kristine) waiting for you. They will make sure your camera and mic are working properly. We will make sure all speakers have arrived. You can test sharing your screen or sharing the slides. Once it’s time to start the session the Linaro moderator will click start stream and you’ll see a countdown 3, 2,1.

You’ll begin presenting. Questions may come in via chat and Q&A, you can answer these as they come in or at the end if you have time. You have a total of 25 minutes so if you want to answer questions please leave time at the end. 

At the end of your session, the moderator will stop the video and that’s it!
