目标
From memory we discussed:
A firmware SMCCC that may be added to PSCI for imp-def cache maintenance in the case of
NVDIMM secure-erase and decrypt.
Existing ACPI support for adding memory with UEFI attributes. It doesn't look like this
will be needed for CXL.
A wide ranging discussion on virtual CPU-hotplug/enable.
The actions were:
I'd re-test kexec/kdump, and investigate the 'coldplug' problem Salil previously described.
Salil was going to re-add the PSCI support to Qemu, and fix the _STA result after
a CPU is disabled so that it is still reported as present.
Jonathan was going to contact a few people about adding _OSC bits for the OS to describe
what it supports to higher level tools.
Russell offered to test this stuff with the environments he has access to if we can send a
list of dependencies. I offered to send this when the kernel and Qemu trees are on the
same page.
