Status

  • Native port of Git for Windows is still not available for Windows Arm64 platforms due to lack of MinGW/GCC support in MinGW GNU Toolchain,

  • Unofficial and partial Git for Windows support is available with llvm-MinGW

  • [Aug 30, 2024 Updates]

    • MSFT will continue GCC support for WoA will continue with patchset #3.

    • QCOM engages Endava to help support Cygwin to enable Git Bash for Windows on Arm.
