    • Kangkang Shen Why can we keep both?
    • Former user (Deleted) Lack of resources for both
    • Kangkang Shen Like Al Stone, KangKang thinks both of them are important. Why do we have to make decision?  Why can't we run both?
      • Former user (Deleted)   It comes down to resources 
      • Kangkang Shen  Futurewei would like to resource by paying for contractor or new linaro employee.  Invite others interested to join.
      • Elsie Wahlig (Deactivated) If we can have additional resources, both both can be managed.

• SmartNIC
  • Grant Likely covers the project proposal  202003 Linaro SmartNIC Project Proposal.pdf
    • Kangkang Shen Futurewei has people working on it.  If needed we can do a presentation. 
    • li.wan Is this open to others.  Can  I share the document outside Linaro members and engineers?
      • Grant Likely Andrea will talk about the structure of how we're going to do this.  The whole goal is to open up the membership beyond core, club and LDCG members. 
  • Andrea Gallo (Deactivated) covers new project membership 202003 Linaro Project Membership.pdf
    • David Rusling (Deactivated) LDCG will decide whether or not this is a good idea
    • Former user (Deleted) What is the level of interest and numbers of companies interested
      • Grant Likely  Level of interest is high. Number of companies is enough but not huge margin. 
      • Initial pitch on March 25, 2020.  Initial committee without commitment, will confirm the structure/cost to commit. 
      • Elsie Wahlig (Deactivated)  schedule for proceeding will be:
        • Online vote through Google Form.
        • LDCG will make final decision at that point. end of July. 
    • Kangkang Shen This looks similar to HPC-SIG structure.  
    • Former user (Deleted) Thinks there is value if there are new membership. Minimum 4 external additional members.  6 external is ideal. 
      • Grant Likely with a smaller hit rate cost will need to be higher.  We can only move forward if it's financially viable.

    • Elsie Wahlig (Deactivated) This LBI is accepted and being drafted into a new CLOUD team Jira initiative and added to the LDCG POR for BUD20-SJC20
