Should start looking at CMSIS-Toolbox 2.3

EF: cprj duplication - on the radar for 2.3?

JK: Depends on timelines. Can only deprecate if have new cmake.

VG: question when we make the switch on the build management.

RK: Let’s first finish the cmake and then do the deprecation.

CMSIS-Toolbox 2.2.0 - release

EF: Won’t go through an RC version?

DB: Have internal dev drops. Rely on automated testing. There is no RC.

RK: Prefer to have official ones on the website. If there’s an argument for RCs let’s discuss.

Show & Tell - linker and pack lock

RK: If I modify the regions file will it get overwritten?

DB: If it’s modified by the user it won’t be touched. Also can set my custom file.

RK: Regions file is toolchain independent. Will use the correct linker script template. Replaces linker script for the compiler.

Using cbuild-set to control build and debug

RK: extend ‘cbuild-set.yml’ for post processing
